Humber Transportation Training Centre needed an application whereby they could administer their students, courses, trainers as well as their financial and marketing matters. The staff at Humber TTC had already put a lot of thought and effort into outlining what features would be required. We proposed our online, hosted application which would give administrators as well as trainers and students access to their information instantly.
The software will change how the Humber TTC works in a positive way by providing instant access to information, automating repetitive tasks and helping staff with complicated tasks like course, classroom, truck and trainer scheduling.

'Amperea Software is pleased to partner with the Ontario Association of Career Colleges to deploy the Student Transcript Electronic Protection Service (STEPS) says Amperea's Managing Director, Jamie W. McLeod. 'Much like our other partnerships this allows us to expand our service offering to other clients as well and we are very excited at the opportunity that OACC has presented to us with this partnership'.
The Student Transcript Electronic Protection Service (STEPS) application will be a publicly accessible component for use by students and colleges to help private career colleges meet the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities guidelines to store transcripts for minimum of 25 years. The public component of the website will allow all visitors access to basic information about the program along with frequently asked questions, contact information and instructions for students and colleges. Students or colleges wishing to use the system will go through a registration process after which they will be able to login securely to the site and access their transcript information. The anticipated launch date for the service is scheduled for August 2007
