This section allows you to add, edit and manage educators for your institution. Educators once added as users to ampEducator can then be assigned to teach Courses and/or specific Course Components as some Educators may teach only a Lab or just the Theory part of a course.

You will notice that you can also Generate ID Cards for your Educators as well.
 
By Clicking on Educator Profile the follow tab sections are revealed:

Edit Educator: Allows you to add specific information about your Educators. You can edit as required.
User Info: Each educator has a user account. This will allow educators to login and manage their students, courses and personal profile. If you do not want educators to login, you can disable their user account here as well.

FAQ - What do Educators see and do when they login?

Educators need to be assigned a course before they can see the students in the course. Once they are assigned to a course, they can enter marks and take attendance manually if required. The Educator can also update their profile information.

Hour Clock: To track this educator's hours you need to assign them an hour clock. An hour clock determines when an educator's hours should be tracked.
Custom Fields: You may define up to 30 custom fields for information specific to your educators.
Educator Notes: You can add various notes and reminders about this educator here.

 
By clicking on Hours you will be able to view the hours logged by the Educator. Hours are tracked by use of Hour Clocks, Bar Code Reader and ID Card.

You can also Generate an Hour Report by Date or look in the blue highlighted window area below to see on screen how many Hours an Educator has accumulated.
You can also Add Daily Hours, but to do this the Educator must be assigned an hour clock.
To edit existing Educator hours click of the magnifying glass under actions shown below:

This will bring up another window of the specific details and will allow you to edit or delete the hours.
